Atlus has been quiet on development for Shin Megami Tensei V since announcing that the game for Nintendo Switch way back in 2016. A recent interview with Kazuyuki Yamai reveals that the development team is working really hard to not cut corners and ensure a level of quality that befits a mainline title. Yamai also asked for patience as the team waits for the right time to give more information to the public.

Yamai also made a passing remark about his openness to the idea of doing a remake of Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne, though there were not any further specifics given. Nocturne is one of my personal favorites in the series and is one of the more critically acclaimed titles in the series I know a portable version on Switch would be an instant purchase for me.
