The most anticipated RPG of the season has met a huge outcry of fans looking to get a copy. The game has sold undoubtedly well with initial estimates at more than double the number of copies sold as the team’s last release, Bravely Second for the Nintendo 3DS. As previously reported, the game had sold out in Japan over the long weekend, forcing the developer to recommend via Twitter for those interested to purchase the digital version from the Nintendo eShop.

It doesn’t stop there, online retailer Amazon has now officially placed the title on backorder in the U.S. Stating to not expect shipments for up to two months. The games huge demand seems to have been a surprise for both Square-Enix and Nintendo as the publishers have a hard time keeping the item in stock on both sides of the Pacfic.
