Square-Enix has announced that the originally mobile-based version of Final Fantasy XV, Final Fantasy XV Pocket Edition, will be heading to Nintendo Switch as well as PlayStation 4 & Xbox One. While the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 version released today, the Nintendo Switch version does not currently have a release date. There is no word on whether existing or upcoming DLC will be released for the upcoming “Pocket Edition” of the game.

Personally, I would have loved for a more “full” version of the game to have come to the Switch but the Pocket Edition gaining physical controls may be a great middle point!
