I’ve been itching to see what last weeks sales looked like for in Japan after hearing news that the country had pretty much sold out of its stock of Octopath Traveler. As Square-Enix continued to apologize to consumers over the lack of supply and asking them to download the game from the eShip instead, I wasn’t sure if there was just a huge amount of demand or if Square-Enix simply dropped the ball.

Well, the numbers don’t disappoint. Octopath Traveler sold over 100,000 copies it’s opening week as Nintendo claims 9 of the top 10 spots. Check out the list below.
