Yoshi for Switch hasn’t been seen much since Nintendo showed it off at E3 2017. While the game took up a considerable amount of time during their Treehouse Live demonstrations, they have been quiet on any updates for the title other than a 2018 release date.
Nintendo’s Bill Trinen confirmed to IGN that the title is “making really good progress.” despite it being pushed back to 2019.
Trinen’s full words:
“It’s actually been making really good progress. They decided they wanted to make some improvements, so they’re going to take just a little bit more time on it and that’s why we’re not showing it this year at the show. But I think you can look forward to some updates on it later in 2018.”
Nintendo has recently stated that the game is now planned for sometime in 2019.
